0.5” GTI ZERO VOID BONDED MONOSTRAND SYSTEM^®

General Technologies, Inc. designs and supplies the most advanced and reliable Encapsulation Systems for Bonded Post-tensioning available today. The GTI Zero Void Bonded Monostrand System^® is a proven method of providing corrosion protection for bonded tendons. Our patented system consists of an anchor casting encapsulated in a thick polyethylene material with excellent chemical and cold temperature resistance and our patented monostrand duct.

The GTI Zero Void System^® utilizes adapters to connect the duct to the anchorage providing a watertight seal. Additionally, the Zero Void System^® uses couplers for watertight connection of duct and access for duct inlets and outlets.

The Zero Void Nail-Less Pocket Former^® is designed to eliminate the use of nails to fasten the stressing anchor to the edge form thus eliminating staining of the concrete surface.

The Zero Void System^® utilizes the GTI Plasma Cutter^® to cut tendon tails after stressing. The GTI Plasma Cutter^® generates a minimal amount of heat during cutting and has no effect on the heat treatment of the strand and the wedges compared to oxyacetylene torch cutting. The GTI Plasma Cutter^® quickly cuts the tendon tail to a precise length, unlike other methods, so that the Zero Void Cap^® can be quickly and permanently locked in place.

GTI’s patented Zero Void Cap^® was created especially for the Zero Void System^® . The cap is supplied as part of the Zero Void System^®.
