0.6” GTI ZERO VOID^® STRESSING-END FOR PLASMA



GTI^® designs and supplies the most advanced and reliable Encapsulation Systems for Unbonded Post-tensioning available today. The GTI Zero Void^® Encapsulation System is a proven method of providing corrosion protection for unbonded tendons. Our patented system consists of an anchor casting encapsulated in a thick polyethylene material with excellent chemical and cold temperature resistance.

The GTI Zero Void^® System eliminates the need to fill sleeves (tubes) at stressing-ends with grease as required by ACI and PTI Guide Specifications. The Zero Void^® System uses seals to provide thermal tolerance for shrinkage of the sheathing and watertight sealing of the encapsulation.

The Zero Void^® Stressing-End for Plasma utilizes the GTI Plasma Cutter^® to cut tendon tails after stressing. The GTI Plasma Cutter^® generates a minimal amount of heat during cutting and has no effect on the heat treatment of the strand and the wedges compared to oxyacetylene torch cutting. The GTI Plasma Cutter^® quickly cuts the tendon tail to a precise length, unlike other methods, so that the Zero Void^® Grease Cap can be quickly and permanently locked in place.
