| The following shows the construction sequence when using GTI Zero Void® Intermediate Couplers in a “long-term” or “delayed” situation. This may be in a structure that will be added to over time or at a location needing added corrosion protection until the connection is made. |

| The construction sequence demonstrates how the GTI Zero Void® Intermediate Coupler works in a long-term or delayed situation. The tendon is installed as a stressing-end with a large pocket former prior to concrete placement; the tendon is stressed using a threaded barrel anchor; the tendon tail is cut using a GTI Plasma Cutter the temporary intermediate cap is installed and the pocket former recess grouted; the coupler comes shop attached to the new pour’s tendon and is attached to the threaded barrel anchor after removing the temporary drypack; and, the finished product in the concrete. |
