| The bridge industry for years has been looking for a duct coupler that would maintain the integrity of the tendon accross the match-cast joint while allowing easy installation and construction techniques. The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ achieves those goals. |

| The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ has gone through a rigorous testing program to validate that the coupler maintains pressure across the segment joint, epoxy does not enter the post-tensioning duct through the coupler, and the gasket material meets the physical parameters for performance. |

| The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ complies with the requirements of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) 462 Post-Tensioning Specification, specifically clauses: 462-4.2.7.3 - Internal Duct Systems and 462-4.2.6.2 - O-rings. |

| The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ was designed specifically for bridge construction sites. As such it had to be rugged, sturdy, strong, and user friendly. Installation procedures are easily followed in the field and are graphically depicted for ease of understanding. |

| During construction alignment mandrels or through-pipes are easily accommodated by the open GTI Load Plug which attaches the coupler to the formwork. Load plugs are available for varying formwork thickness of 1/4 to 3/4 inches (6mm - 18 mm). Locating tubes on the bulkheads are not required. A similar open load plug is used to attach the GTI Match Cast Coupler thus accommodating alignment devices and assuring profile continuity. |

- The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ creates an air and water-tight connection at the most vulnerable location in the tendon - the segment joint - providing the best corrosion protection available.
- The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ maintains the integrity of the post-tensioning tendon duct for grouting purposes - there are no crossovers and epoxy does not leak through the segmental couplers or attachments.
- The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ accepts angles up to at least 15 degrees in any direction at the segment joint to maintain tendon alignment - which is far greater than required on most projects.
- The GTI Precast Segmental Duct Coupler™ allows for misalignment of the segments by up to 1/4 inch (6mm) in any axis meaning field tolerances are achievable.
