Description:  Being near Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, corrosion protection and durability was a primary concern for the Marquis Condominium on Biscayne Blvd. in downtown Miami.  The GTI Zero Void Encapsulated System® providing the optimum solution for the owner in corrosion protection of the post-tensioning system.  The GTI Plasma Cutter® allowed the installer to quickly and efficiently cut the tendon tails.  The GTI Zero Void Locking Cap® was chosen to secure the wedge cavity from intrusion from airborne salts and salt water.  Additionally, GTI Composite Bar Supports® were utilized for long-term durability.
