GTI Tight-Radius Plastic Duct
GTI has advanced the use of corrugated plastic duct into tight-radius post-tensioning applications. Patented GTI TR Corrugated Plastic Duct increases the quality of bridge construction by adapting corrosion resistant, high-performance materials to improve protection of post-tensioning tendons.
GTI Corrugated Plastic Duct is used in post-tensioning applications worldwide protecting post-tensioning tendons and preventing concrete spalling and deterioration due to expansion of corroding elements (metal or galvanized metal duct). GTI TR Corrugated Plastic Duct provides the same corrosion protection where post-tensioning profiles are severe requiring tight-radii.
Specially formulated, proprietary composite, high-performance materials are used to manufacture this unique product. Testing has shown its ability to achieve tight-radii conforming to the requirements of both fib and PTI/ASBI and is confirmed by an independent testing agency.
